Notes Scotch® Tape 389 can be used for colour coding, pipe wrapping, container sealing, repairing, temporary holding of floor carpets, reinforcing, decorating, splicing and a variety of industrial applications. The temperature resistance of this tape is up to 70 °C for one hour .Thickness : 0.26 mm AFERA 4006 Adhesion to steel : 22.5 N/25 mm AFERA 4001 Tensile strength : 200 N/25 mm AFERA 4004 Elongation : 6 % AFERA 4005 Temperature performance : 70 °C/ 1 hour Satisfactory performance of Scotch® Tape 389 will be achieved at varying temperatures/time exposure on many substrates. If Scotch® Tape 389 needs to be removed from a surface, tests should be conducted to establish Scotch® Tape 389 performance parameters in your process conditions.
